1. Who We Are
The ERC System is operated by the Medical Cadet Corps (MCC), a disaster relief auxiliary of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. This platform is used exclusively to coordinate emergency response operations, manage cadet training records, and facilitate community welfare checks during declared emergencies. It is not a commercial platform and is not open to the general public. This platform and its associated 10DLC SMS messaging services are operated by Earl A. Wilson (Nexus Digital LLC) on behalf of the Medical Cadet Corps (MCC) auxiliary.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information for registered cadet members and community members:
- Name, phone number, email address, and physical address
- Emergency status and GPS location (only during active emergency events)
- Training certifications and course completion records
- Medical consent forms (encrypted at rest; accessible only to authorized personnel)
- Background check documentation (ASV/SafetyNet compliance)
- Driver's license and vehicle insurance information (for authorized transport volunteers)
3. SMS & Communication Consent
Registered members may receive SMS text messages via short code or 10-digit long code (10DLC) for the following purposes:
- Emergency Alerts: Code Black (active disaster) mobilization notifications
- Training Reminders: Assignment deadlines and class schedule notifications
- Muster Recalls: Unit-wide accountability check-in requests
Message frequency varies based on operational tempo. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Coordinate emergency response operations and member accountability
- Track training certification status and promote cadet advancement
- Generate FEMA/ICS operational reports for disaster reimbursement filings
- Send operational alerts and safety notifications to registered members
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Security
All data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure with role-based access controls (RBAC). Medical and sensitive compliance documents are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel based on organizational role. Multi-tenant data isolation ensures that records from one church unit are never accessible to another.
6. Data Retention
Member records are retained for the duration of active cadet enrollment plus 7 years for compliance with Florida Conference organizational recordkeeping requirements. Members may request deletion of their records by contacting their unit administrator.
